The Helmsley Center for Artificial Intelligence Research in Agriculture​

Working in close partnership with the Volcani Institute, we helped raise $4 million to establish the first ever research center in Israel dedicated to artificial intelligence for agriculture. This center was established thanks to an incredibly generous grant from The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust.

THE MODEL FARM FOR SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

 

With a $4,780,000 donation from The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, the model farm was launched in 2018. The farm, currently in year 2 of 3 of its establishment, is situated in Neve Ya’ar, the northern research center of the Volcani Center. Sitting adjacent to Volcani’s laboratories, it narrows the gap between research and implementation and has been designed to be open to people of all nations, without regard to political and geographical borders.

To ensure that Volcani continues to position Israel as a global leader of agricultural innovation, we must continue to attract and recruit world class scientists, and philanthropy is key to its success. 

 

Over the course of the next few decades, the world will be looking to the best scientists in the world to provide solutions for growing, hungry and thirsty population. We’re looking for the support of those who would like to ensure that when they do so, they will be looking to Israel.

Growing Peace Inc. Hydroponic Program

 

It’s been our privilege to contribute to Growing Peace Inc.'s hydroponic program located in the food pantry established by The Tel Aviv Foundation, Mesila, Lesova and the Tel Aviv Yafo Municipality. Through a tailored hydroponic system, the initiative enables the food pantry to directly produce fresh, healthy and nutritious food for asylum seekers year-round.
