We were invited to speak at a SID event entitled 'What makes agricultural innovation happen? Lessons from Israel and beyond'.
As the ability of the agriculture sector to drive inclusive economic growth and improve food security in underdeveloped markets rests to a large extent on innovation, we will discuss the structural constraints to agricultural innovation, and how they can be addressed with a combination of policy, investment and market opportunities.
